Olympic champion Eric Lamaze (CAN) and his brilliant Hickstead, defied statistics by rocketing up the leader board from 17th to 2^nd and Holland’s Jeroen Dubbeldam rose from 11th to 3rd on BMC van Grunsven Simon.

Taloubet Z only lowered one pole in 5 demanding rounds of jumping after the leaders on the final day, Marco Kutscher and Cash, faultess after 4 rounds, were distracted by the chattering crowds and had 3 down to drop to equal 4th, at a cost of some €30,000.
